Reacting to the minister’s assertion, the foremost Niger Delta agitator and rights activist Comrade Ozobo Austin said the minister of Niger Delta affairs, Sen. Godswill Akpabio lacks moral and integrity to talk about heading the management of host communities PIA funds.

The activist said, Akpabio is anti- Niger Delta and that no reasonable and responsible person would want him to further interfere with the affairs of the region.

Ozobo added that it has played out at all fronts that Akpabio was promoting personal agenda above Niger Delta interest and yearnings.

The youth leader, said Akpabio who is aiding and abatting corruption in NDDC in the name of forensic audits will never be accepted by leaders and stakeholders in the region to create a logjam in the management of the PIA funds.
