The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has assured her staff members of job security, regardless of the current digitisation of operations nationwide.

Alhaji Garba Abubakar, Registrar General/Chief Executive Officer, CAC dropped this hint today during a working visit to the Corporate Affairs Commission, Portharcourt office.

Alhaji Abubakar however adviced staff members to make themselves relevant to the system by getting the prerequisite skills and knowledge that will enable them adapt to and function maximally in a technologically driven organisation.

He further stated that in view of the ongoing reforms, there was need for noncompliant Staff members to “embrace technology to enable the Commission reassign schedules to those that may require onboarding”.

Alhaji Garba Abubakar therefore said that the Commision was committed to ensuring continued training and retraining of its workforce to realize its objectives.

The Registrar General also applauded the efforts and contributions of staff members towards ensuring the success of the just concluded Stakeholders forum in Portharcourt and urged them to “sustain the tempo”.

On his part, the Head of Portharcourt Nodal Office, Godwin Ononokponor (Deputy Director) expressed delight over the visit of the Rrgistrar General. He also pledged the commitment of the Port Harcourt staff members to the Corporation’s new effectiveness and efficiency goals.
