Femi Fani-Kayode may be so shameless not to hide his emotion, but the Nigerian politician, whether APC or PDP are as self centered and unfeeling about the common good like Femi Fani-Kayode.
Whether to mock or glorify him, the undeserved prominence leading newspapers and television networks have accorded the most shameless partisan politics prostitute, Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK), underscores how much a compromised Nigerian media fuel the nation’s dirty politics.
Of course, Femi Fani-Kayode has become the emblem of pettiness of Nigerian politicians. He’s no means alone in this shamelessness among Nigerian politicians. 99.9 % of Nigerian politicians are like Femi Fani-Kayode, transiting between APC and PDP, depending of which options is wet ground at each point in time.
What are the contents of these two major parties? They are made of same crooked politicians who can’t sustain a living without leaning on government. Fani-Kayode is just one of them who are too shameless that Fani-Kayode can’t hide his emotions and the nuisance he constitutes from public glare, the reason Nigerian public are most critical of him.
This was same Femi Fani-Kayode who said publicly that over his dead body will he return to APC or worship President Buhari. Today he is saying anyone who is not with President Buhari doesn’t mean and wants the disintegration of Nigeria. What dementia!
Petty Nigerian politicians who are hypocrites and secretly working against their party interests and the common good of the masses are even more dangerous than shameless Femi Fani-Kayode. I am not surprised one bit that Femi Fani-Kayode decamped to join APC, the ruling party he had openly criticised.
It is also shameful of the President that of the myriads of problems plaguing the country, he could devote time for the partisan welcoming and interaction with a political prostitute, as a state function in the State House. That also tells us what a petty, inconsequential President we have, unfeeling about the gradual collapse of the country he leads.
What value does the drama of receiving short-fused Femi Fani-Kayode back to the APC add to the progress of the country? Whether in APC today or PDP tomorrow, the Nigerian politicians are same character in power at different levels of governance. They are best described as birds of same feathers, like Femi Fani-Kayode.
All of them induce the majority gullible public with sweets words, carrot and stick, to impose themselves in government. As soon as they get what they want, state power, they turn tigers, lions and pay deaf ears. The common good is never their interests.
Which is why we are equally disappointed at the Nigerian media. Why give Femi Fani-Kayode and the trivial President media prominence in that shameful defection drama? The Nigerian media would continue to be one of the big problems in the country. They are as gullible as the politicians.
