The GOC/Commander OPSH noted that NAOWA, apart from maintaining the home front, has also taken active part in the non-kinetic activities of the military, by providing immediate succor to communities affected by negative vices or those in dire need.  He further commended NAOWA for its skill acquisition programmes and support to the Nigerian Army towards ensuring quality and affordable health and educational facilities for barracks and host communities. “The best way to keep our dependents away from negative vices is to engage them in meaningful ventures,” the GOC averred.

Appreciating the sacrifices offered by the officers’ wives, the GOC pledged to work with NAOWA to prioritize the welfare of troops in 3 Division.
