Recently on July 28, 2022, the Delta state Governorship hopeful, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi in the company of the Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo attends the National Ecumenical Center for the 12th General Assembly and Leadership Transition of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), in Abuja.
The attendance of many reputable men of God, some other shakers and movers of powers in Nigeria was in honour of the newly inaugurated president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and as part of the handing over ceremony which indicates sincere collaboration between religion and politics which are interwoven.
Present was also Bishop Dr Jude Akhere, Senior Pastor of Pasture of Life Christian Assembly, Primate Jonathan Arhawanrien, founder of Saint Lazarus Christ Church, South-south representative of CAN, Rev. Goodwill Adogho, of Word of Grace Ministries and Rev. Father Jesu Ovie Ogagakpodia, a Catholic priest among others just to grace the occasion as that one remarkable event in a million events.
To top it all other prominent dignitaries like the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, the incumbent Governor of Delta state, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa was also in attendance which made the occasion to be described as one colourful event filled with diginitarial presence.
