Subsidy Removal: Photos, Gov. Makinde Meets With Oyo Chapter Of NLC, TUC, Other Agencies

The Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde has currently met with labour leaders of NLC, TUC and other state agencies on 5th June, 2023 to solve issue prompting strike.

In his statement he expressed, “In my remarks at the meeting, I acknowledged the contributions of workers to the success of our administration and stated that there is no trust deficit between our government and labour unions in the state.

“I said that, in view of the recent removal of subsidy by the Federal Government, our administration would collaborate with the labour unions in our dear state on a tailor-made solution for our people’s benefit.
