SOLUDO RECEIVES ROUSING WELCOME AT ANAOCHA, CELEBRATES NEW YAM FESTIVAL WITH THE PEOPLE

The ever increasing popularity of Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA), gubernatorial candidate for the November 6 governorship election was fully displayed on September 18, 2021 by the people of Anaocha who received him warmly for their New Yam Festival, at the Anaocha local government headquarters_
The announcement of Cee Cee Soludo’s arrival at the venue was greeted with a frenzy of excitement by the over 5,000 people gathered at the annual event. The APGA candidate seized the momentum to move round all the canopies acknowledging cheers from the enthusiastic crowd.
Cee Cee Soludo who was in company of the Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Uche Episeni Okafor was warmly received by HRH Igwe O. D Ezeani (Ugonabo of Neni) and other traditional rulers including the great sons and daughters of the community.
The former CBN Governor used the occasion to assure the people of his desire to bring development to every Community if he becomes the Governor of Anambra State by their support, which was evidently expressed by the reception accorded him.
The event tagged: Anaocha Festival (ANAFEST 2021), was also used to confer a traditional chieftaincy title of “Ikemba Di Ugwu” on Dr Chukwuemeka Okeke, son of Chief GUO Okeke Chairman/CEO GUO Motors. Cee Cee Soludo also used the occasion to facilitate with the awardee and wished him many more years of meritorious service to his community and humanity.
Other side attractions were the display of cultural dances, masquerades in various colorful regalia, exhibitions of yams and the display of numerous skills and talents by the youths in the Communities.
