SOLUDO AND WIFE MARK 31ST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY, HAIL THE MARRIAGE INSTITUTION

Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, and his wife, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, marked their 31st wedding anniversary with a thanksgiving mass at their residence in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area.

The event which doubled as a celebration of institution of marriage also saw the Governor expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all who joined them for the occasion.

 

The Governor acknowledged the high rate of failed marriages but was quick to attribute the longevity of his union to God’s abundant blessings and grace.

 

 

Governor Soludo fondly recalled their commitment to celebrating each year of their marriage journey, from the very beginning to this significant 31st milestone.

 

“This celebration is not just about our own union.

“It’s also a celebration of the importance of marriage itself. Every man should profess love to his wife every day”; the Governor noted.

The Governor proudly shared that his marriage has been blessed with two sons and four daughters.

 

Governor Soludo’s appreciation extended beyond the anniversary, as he also expressed his sincere gratitude to the over 10,000 people who came together to honor his late father.

 

He described the burial ceremony as a “successful and decent event” that adhered to Anambra State’s Burial law.

 

In a homily, the Chancellor, Awka Diocese, Rev. Fr. Charles Ndubuisi reiterated the need to be thankful to God for lavishing his grace upon the Governor and his wife as their marriage clocked 31 years.

Rev. Fr. Ndubuisi encouraged the couple to sustain the secret recipe holding them together in marriage and called on all the single youth and young couples to look up to the Governor and his wife as role models to emulate.

Anambra Deputy Governor Onyedikachukwu Ibezim, Former Anambra Deputy Governor Emeka Sibeudu, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr Ernest Ezeajughi, APGA National Chairman Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, APGA Former National Chairman Ozonkpu Victor Oye, Traditional Rulers, Clergies among others attended the mass.
