The Federal government has presently approved the first online higher institution of learning – MIVA Open University through the collaboration of NUC to operate an an open University in Nigeria.
It was noted that, Federal Executive Council (FEC) acting on the recommendations of NUC granted MIVA, with an open distance elearning licence that permits the institution the opportunity to bring everything it has learn from Kindergarten through grade 12 to the tertiary level.
In excitement, Sim Shagaya expressed his joy over the achievement after 4years of dream that finally came through he said, “It is with great sense of responsibility and excitement that I would like to share that MIVA University part of ulesson group has been granted online university licence….”
He assured that, MIVA University will surely move its way to ensure accessibility, affordability, efficacy, convenience with new innovations to pull through the hurdles of educational system in the country.
