PPK Aviation International, was established in 1997 by a group of professionals in the Aviation Industry, with Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq, as one of the major shareholders.
Oghenesivbe, served as pioneer Chairman/Managing Director from 1997 to 2009.
He resigned his position as MD, to pursue a Law Degree and was called to the Nigerian Bar by the Body of Benchers.
Oghenesivbe, thereafter combined Law Practice with party politics, while retaining his Board position as Chairman of PPK-Aeroflight joint Venture, providing multifaceted specialized services in the Aviation and Tourism industry.
His vast knowledge of the Aviation sector prompted former President Mohammadu Buhari, to nominate him in November 2017, as Chairman of Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology, Zaria; a position he declined to continue to serve as Executive Assistant on Communications to the immediate past governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON.
And on May 29, 2023, the Okowa administration where he served as Executive Assistant on Communications to Delta State Governor, handed over power to a new Democratic administration, and he had to return to PPK Aviation headquarters in Ikeja, where he retained the Chair position.
It is hoped that Dr Oghenesivbe, may be willing to serve in higher public office when called upon to do so, and it does not in any way affect his stake as chairman of PPK-Aeroflight partnership in the aviation industry.
This clarification became necessary due to certain online publications, insinuating that Oghenesivbe, may have been newly appointed as Chairman of PPK Aviation International.
