Ahead of the 2023 elections, Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate, Adewole Adebayo, has urged Nigerian electorate to bet on the SDP in it’s commitment for genuine change with fresh practical ideas and not repeat past mistake of hanging on to same failed leaders who have held the country stagnated in worsening distress.
Over the opening of a new SDP National Secretariat, Abuja, Thursday, Adebayo and allies, during a chat with Arise TV, espoused why Nigerians must not look beyond SDP in the hope for a genuine rescue team to save Nigeria from impending doom.
The SDP presidential flag bearer sounded that, “Victory is when 80% of our natural resources will not be stolen. Victory is when every child is in school and can complete school without strike.
“Victory is when you have sound medical health care for every citizen. Victory is when you have a stable currency that will not make you poor while working.
“Victory is when rule of law does not depend on the government but depends on the machinery of state. Victory is when all the black people in the world will say whatever happens thank God there is Nigeria”
National Chairman of the party, Alh Shehu Gabam pleaded, “Let us forget our pedestrian or casual or sentimental or emotional issues. We really want to rescue Nigeria from the current issues, it means we must set aside those minor issues”
SDP chieftain, Olu Falae, hoped, “Nigerians will choose carefully, it should not be business as usual, take N10,000 or N20,000 and vote for the wrong candidate.
“No! You can all see what we are going through N20,000 can no longer solve our problem of insecurity, hunger and inflation”.
