PHOTOS: See Moment Gov. Seyi Makinde Welcomes Hon. Minister Of Work, Dave Umahi As He Vists Oyo State 

The Honourable Minister of Works, Dave Umahi was received by the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde today been Thursday 31st August, 2023 during this visit.

His Excellency David Umahi, the Honourable Minister of Works, who is on a working visit to Oyo State also discussed with Gov. Makinde some of the projects we are executing in Oyo State including the 34.85 km Oyo-Iseyin Road, a federal road reconstructed by our administration which will be commissioned on 15 September, 2023.

They also talked about the 76.67 km Ogbomoso-Iseyin-Fapote Road which is a new road being constructed by our administration and the 35.53 km Ibadan-Iwo-Osogbo Road which we are reconstructing. And ongoing federal road projects: Ibadan-Oyo; Ibadan-Ife/Ilesha; and Ibadan-Abeokuta.

Makinde in a statement said, “I also sought areas of collaboration with the Federal Government regarding federal projects in our state as well as the planned provision of streetlights on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway which the Lagos, Ogun and Oyo State Governors have agreed to execute to improve security on the route.”
