The Executive Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde has today been Thursday 10th August, 2023 received theĀ 44th General Officer Commanding, 2 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Valentine Okoro and his entourage on a courtesy visit today.
In his remark he expressed, “I used the opportunity to welcome Major General Okoro, who recently resumed in Ibadan, and promised that the cordial relationship between our administration and the army would continue.
“I thanked the officers of the Nigerian Army for their service to our country. I specially thanked the officers of the 2 Division for their role in keeping our dear state safe and secure. Particularly, for the improved security on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and the Old Oyo National Park.”
