The Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has received the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, led by the President and Chairman, Mr. Ken Opara.
This took place on Thursday 13th July, 2023 at his Lagos office.
In his statement he said, “I reiterated that as a Government, we will partner with the CIBN to build youth capacity through the Human Development Capital Fund initiative of the institute.
“Everything we do is not just about providing opportunities, it is about ensuring that we can provide a future for the youthful population we have in our country.
“We aim to give them a sense of hope and give them reasons to believe. Our THEMES+ agenda speaks to gender equality, extensive youth engagement and ensuring that we leave no one behind.
“We are committed to seeing that we continue to raise the level of governance to create a path so those coming behind will see clearly that governance is serious business and that the most important goal is to improve the quality of lives of the people.”
