The executive Governor of Lagos state  Babajide Sanwo-Olu has hosted the U.S trade delegation led by US Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, Marisa Lago. We discussed ways to bolster economic ties between Lagos and the USA.

This meeting took place on Monday 14th August, 2023.

In his statement he expressed, “Lagos is at the forefront of economic expansion in Africa, and today’s meeting with the U.S delegation reaffirms our commitment to growth.

“We look forward to strategic interventions and collaboration from productive discussions.  Thank you, Ms. Lago, for recognizing our state’s pivotal role on the continent.”
