History has it recorded today been Thursday as the outgojng President, Muhammadu Buhari has conferred the honour of GCFR on the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari and GCON on the Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima.
In his statement he said, “With the authority vested in me as the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I conferred the National Honour of GCFR on His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the GCON His Excellency, Kashim Shettima”.
