The Supreme Court has finally announced the judgement on Osun State gubernatorial election.
According to the outcome of the judgement on Tuesday 9th May, 2023, the five- member of the apex court has pronounced Adeleke of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner as Court of Appeal reinstates him as the current governor of Osun State.
Though Oyetola of All Progressives Congress (APC) also sought the reversal of the March 25th judgement of the Court of Appeal in Abuja which affirmed the Adeleke’s victory in the July, 2022 gubernatorial election.
However, the court already put aside the earlier judgment done by the Osun Governorship Election Petition Tribunal which swinged to the favour Oyetola removing Adeleke.
