Uvwie has suffered so much set back from the past government and the government of the day who continually put our youths on a journey of no future.
We are saying Uvwie deserves better and this time will go for a leader with better sense of humour and discipline to inculcate the habit of decency in governance into Uvwie and trash the spirit of enslavement from government.
It is no longer strange that, the problem of Uvwie is exactly same as the one confronting Okpe and Sapele but this time a combination of both problems.
If truth be told, we have a refinery in Uvwie LGA but many youths are still unemployed, very underdeveloped and insecurity keep eating very deep by the day while the government keep trading with the conscience of the Uvwie LGA, that is why they want to bring back criminality again to come and represent us, the PDP and APC candidates vying for Federal House of Representatives this 2023 are both from Uvwie Local Government Area, nothing to show for their representation and that is tantamount to continuity of impunity for massive youth destruction which is spelt out in there campaign slogan of “M.O.R.E. agenda.
And that is a total failure of government whose presence has never been felt in Local government areas of Delta state in general talk less of Uvwie LGA.
What the OSU constituency needs presently is a transparent and articulate leader who will ensure sanity and progress comes into existence in the respective Constituency especially Uvwie.
Therefore we must not allow ourselves especially our youths to be used anymore by the government of “na so we dey do am”, we must sanitize our conscience and mindset to get it right this time!
