Information reaching the media reveales the demise of the monarch of Oke-Agbe Community, the headquarters of Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Oladunjoye Fajana, who has today joined his ancestors at the age of 80 years.
It was gathered that, a traditional chief in the community, Otunba Solomon Oladunni confirmed the development even as he described the monarch’s reign as very peaceful, progressive and eventful for the ancient town.
According to the palace historian, Prince Foluso Arasanyin, who also reportedly confirmed the demise of the monarch.
He confirmed, “Yes Afa-Okeagbe has just lost a great King, Kabiyesi Oladunjoye has joined his ancestors. Our hearts are heavy, laden with pains and grief at the announcement of the passing to glory of our highly revered monarch, Oba Oladunjoye Fajana, Ajana Afa of Okeagbe”,
However, Arasanyin in his statement described the deceased as a father, motivator, and youth-driven monarch that encourages youths on the need to build inorder to tackle the challenge of taking the lead in the rebuilding process of Nigeria.
