NECO Vows Not To Extend Registration For 2021 SSCE Internal Candidates

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has warned that it will not extend the registration period for the 2021 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for school-based candidates.

The exercise which started March 31, is expected to end on june 25, 2021.

The examination will commence on Monday, July 5, 2021.

This was contained in a press statement by Azeez Sani, the Head of Information and Public Relations Division of NECO.

The exam body said it took the decision not to extend registration to enable it efficiently plan the logistics required for the smooth conduct of the forthcoming 2021 SSCE internal examination.

NECO enjoined State Ministries of Education, Commandants, Principals, Proprietors and other relevant stakeholders to take note of the closing date and ensure timely completion of their candidates’ registration.

The Council assured its stakeholders of its resolve to conduct a seamless 2021 SSCE exam.
