Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, is now a prime target for Serie A rivals, Juventus who are keen to bring the Nigerian to Turin next season.
According to CalciomercatoWeb, Juventus are considering a very important change in attack. For Juve to afford Osimhen though who Napoli value at €100m, Vlahovic would have to exit the club.
Juventus are not satsified with the performances of the Serbian, Vlahovic is also currently injured and his exit would leave room for the Nigerian next summer in June.
According to CalciomercatoWeb; “Vlahovic is still keen for a move to England, where the Premier League clubs had already attempted to snatch him from Serie A at the time he was in Fiorentina. Now, for around €80m, the Serbian striker could exit Juventus after only eighteen months since he sign the ‘Old Lady’. A change in attack is expected in the next summer window, with Osimhen as a dream of the Turin team and Vlahovic ready to pack his bags,” reads the website in question.
Osimhen arrived at Napoli after a club-record €70m transfer from Lille in 2020 and quickly adapted to life in Italy.
He recently signed a contract tying him to Napoli until 2025 and giving the club plenty of leverage in any potential sale.
The 23-year-old forward has been in impressive form for Napoli and is currently the top scorer in Serie A this season with eight goals from nine games despite missing five weeks due to injury.
Osimhen has now contributed 11 goals (nine goals and two assists) for the Partenopei, who hold a six-point lead in Serie A.
