The president-elect, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu is said to be expected back in the country today been 24th April, 2023 in preparation of the coming May 29th handover inauguration preparation.
Tinubu who was said to have left Nigeria since March 21, 2023 for a holiday in London and Paris.
The statement from his media office released by Tunde Rahman also revealed that the president-elect, Tinubu have only visited both countries to rest and plan his transition programme ahead of his inauguration on May 29, 2023.
However, the report coming from the President-elect camp reveals Tinubu would be returning to take charge of the preparations and give instructions on the way forward on the handover even as the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) prepares to meet the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to decide on the position regarding Senate president, House of Representatives Speaker as well.
Though the Secretary to government, James Faleke disclosed that Tinubu and his wife will be returning on Monday in a tweet on Sunday Apri 23, 2023.
