Hon. Gbajabiamila has cleared air on why he rejected the INEC certificate of return.
This he disclosed to the State House correspondents on Monday 13th March, 2023 after a meeting with the National Working Committee (NUC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the party’s lawmakers elect while denying plans of abandoning his duty to lobby for appointment of Chief of Staff to Tinubu
He explained, “I don’t know anything about the Chief of Staff thing. All I heard was that I didn’t come here last week to pick up my certificate of return, and for that reason, somebody conjectured that I must be in line for the office because I didn’t care about my mandate”.
