Gbagi Preaches Sacrifice At Easter, Celebrates Deltans

The Governorship candidate on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), in Delta State, His Excellency, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi FNIM, OON, has felicitated with Christians in the state and the world over on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.

 

He said Delta would attain her full potentials when her citizens resolve to live a life of sacrifice, urging them to pray for continued peace and stability of the state as well as Nigeria in general.

In his Easter message on Sunday April 9th 2023, Gbagi, said as the world commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who gave his life as a sacrifice for mankind, Christian faithful should toe the footsteps of their Saviour and emulate his spirit of peace, love, particularly that of sacrifice.

 

He said the Easter period provided an opportunity for strengthening of unity of purpose, reinforcement of bond of brotherhood and dedication in service to God and humanity as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

 

He said: “I, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth O. Gbagi, FNIM, OON use this medium and the sacrifice that was shared for us all as a people by Jesus Christ, who was crucified by enemies for no offence or crime committed by him and resurrected.

 

“The entire world, the globe celebrate him today.

 

“Deltans, I use this medium to plead with you people, do not be careless with your lives, the lives of your children, your grandchildren and the children yet unborn.

 

“The people who made London, Dubai and America, you all are eyeing and running to, are people who made sacrifice like I am doing today.

 

“Please, join hands with me and liberate Delta State as I wish you a wonderful Easter celebration in your various homes and life.

 

“God bless you real good”, Gbagi, a former minister of state for education, said.
