Senator Iyorchia Ayu has been suspended from Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and removed as the party chairman by a High Court sitting in Markurdi, Benue state.
It was reported that Ayu did not against that he did not pay his dues in the party up to date, which makes his membership elapsed.
According to the judgement by justice Maurice Ikpambese, he stated that Ayu didn’t contest his suspension by the Igyorov Ward Executive, neither did he challenge his suspension.
Recall, in March 2023, Ayu was ordered to stop parading himself as Peoples Democratic Party, PDP National Chairman.
During the final judgement by justice Maurice, who is the chief judge of Benue state, he affirmed it that the first defendant ( Ayu ) membership of the second defendant ( PDP ) elapsed over failure to pay his membership dues.
