The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has today moved to France ahead of the Global Financing Pact Summit convened by President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, this is his first official travel since after May 29 Inauguration as President.
It was gathered that the President was escorted to the airport by the new Acting IGP Egbetokun and the newly appointed Service Chiefs who lined up to bid him farewell.
This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by Dele Alake, Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communication, and Strategy, the President will attend the two-day Summit on June 22 and 23, and is expected to return on Saturday.
According to report, President Tinubu was accompanied by members of the Presidential Policy Advisory Council along with other government officials and the vist will explore opportunities to restore fiscal space to countries dealing with difficult short-term financial challenges, specifically the most indebted.
