The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has said that its Executive Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, has received medical attention after he slumped during a program at the presidential villa, Abuja on Thursday 16th September 2021. The anti-corruption agency affirmed that its Chairman is now hale and hearty and is expected back at his desk.
This disclosure is contained in a statement titled, ‘Bawa is Hale and Hearty,’ issued by EFCC Head, Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, on Thursday in Abuja.
Uwujaren said, “The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa is hale and hearty. This clarification became necessary following an incident today September 16, 2021 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he was giving a goodwill message at the National Identity Day celebration, felt unwell and had to return to his seat.
“He has since received medical attention and is due back at his desk.”
