Still on the campaign, the governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party SDP, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON, the Deputy Governor to be, Mrs. Rosemary Isioma Oshilim and their entourage of SDP faithfuls led by the Campaign Director General of Gbagi council, Prof. Jiff Mokobia has storm Ozoro town in Isoko North Local government of Delta state in a bid of taking their campaigning to another level in style to demonstrate what is regarded as stomach infrastructure cum liberation message to the people of Isoko North in Delta state.
This practicalized campaigning took place on Thursday January 19, 2023 at Ozoro Isoko North local government area of Delta state.
It was also noted that the incoming Governor, His Excellency, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON first match his campaign train to the PFN in Ozoro to pay homage to the Almighty God through His servants who are made up of clerics and pastors (the Isoko church leaders forum) from the local government area of Isoko North who all gathered in anticipation and excitement at the vicinity of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), CAN, Winners as massive turnout of members of the church among others were witnessed.
Gbagi who is known for his excellent delivery of detailed speech and early fulfilment of part of his campaign promises as to showcase his competence and capacity in the particular position both him and other candidates are vying for.
In his liberation speech to the clerics he expressed, “There is a grave danger ahead of us because we are being deceived. If you follow my campaign, you will see that I have been going to churches. That is because I believe that is where the problem lies.
“They have made us to believe that the church is not supposed to be involved in politics, whereas everything we do in life has a political element to it.
“The church has become poorer today because of what we brought upon ourselves as a people”.
“I strongly believe that Isoko North can become the food basket of the nation. This is because Isoko North is located in a low water bed that can be used to grow the best rice, feed Deltans and also export to neighboring states and even outside the country”.
In response to Gbagi’s campaign messages, all the clerics in agreement showered him and his Deputy, Mrs. Rosemary Oshilim, SDP prayers of support and blessings to go forth and win the governorship race as he is truely qualified to lead Delta state.
At the end, he went further to unveil some his liberation package on creating mass employment and state revenue as he turns Isoko North LGA as the “food basket of the nation” while dishing out free fuel which also serve as his stomach infrastructure plan to Ozoro community in Isoko North, giving them fresh assurance of better life and state ahead in his government as soon as he assumes the governorship position this year 2023.
