Delta State Govt Signs Stakeholders Agreement with NNPCL, UTM Offshore Limited…see details 

The Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has on Tuesday marks a significant milestone with the signing of the Shareholders’ Agreement between UTM Offshore limited, NNPC limited and Delta State Government at the NNPC Towers Abuja.

According to Oborevwori, the UTM Floating Liquified Natural Gas (FLNG) is the first of its kind in Nigeria and the first time such a project is being developed by an indigenous private company.

And is of special interest to the Delta State Government as there are dividends that this project will generate to advance the socio-economic development of our dear state. We envisage that this project will create job opportunities for our youths, which is one of the four pillars of our MORE Agenda.

In his remarks he expressed, “We are proud that the Group Managing Director of UTM, Mr. Julius Dediare Rone is our son, a Deltan.”
