Reports has revealed that, Harry Connick Sr. has died at the aged of97, with his actor and musician son Harry Connick Jr. by his side.
The New Orleans district attorney died on Thursday, January 25, with his wife, Londa, and children, Dr Suzanna Jamison and Harry with him.
Though the cause of death is yet to be revealed, this was disclosed in a statement given by Connick Jr.’s publicist.
‘He will be deeply missed, but all who knew him were well aware that his greatest desire was to spend eternity with God in heaven,’ read part of the obituary.
Connick Jr. posted a photo with his dad in November and wrote about how much they enjoy spending time together.
‘Hangin’ with my dad – my FAVORITE thing in the world!’ he wrote on Instagram.
‘I come to see him about once a month in New Orleans and it’s still not enough! at 97, he continues to be my hero and inspiration… I love you sooooo much, dad!!!’
