Benue: Gov. Ortom Laments At Ngban Massacre, Appeals To Buhari For Help.

The governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has recently lamented at the massacre of the 134 citizens of Benue state.

 

Speaking on the sad incident, Gov. Ortom beckoned on President Muhammadu Buhari to help out by sending military troops to rescue the state from such senseless insurgency.

Ortom further explained the need for assistance of the military from the federal government as indigenes should not be pushed into acquiring arms to defend themselves from these wicked killers.

 

At the end, Ortom disclosed to newsmen during his visit to 36 injured victims of Ngban attack at the Benue State teaching hospital (BSUTH), describing the attack as heinous and cowardly.

 

He went further to encourage the indigenes of Benue state to remain law abiding and vigilant to enable them fetch out the assilants, bad people.
