The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Ihiala LGA has recorded its biggest catch yet as a prominent son of Ihiala from Amamu Ward was initiated into the APGA family.
Chief (Dr) Nnamdi Igwemezie (Ph.D., MBA), the former Vice-President of Novartis Malaria Initiative in Basel, Switzerland said he is embracing the APGA party because of the incomparable appeal of the party’s gubernatorial candidate Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo.
The acclaimed potentate of Ihiala is the Chairman/CEO of Denam Group, a diversified company with headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria that deals in three key sectors, notably, Residential Property Development, Pharmaceuticals and Hospitality.
In his spirited drive to back APGA to the hilt, Chief Igwemezie, with the amiable support of his mother, Lady Regina Igwemezie, and his beloved wife, Dr. Dorathy Igwemezie, made handsome donations to APGA as a party and the Soludo Campaign Council.
The party chieftains on ground to witness the event and present Dr. Igwemezie with an express APGA membership card were the Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. C.Don Adinuba, the Councilor for Amamu A Ward, Hon James Okoma, the Ward Chairman, Hon Emordi Okeke, and the party publicist, Enzo Nzeribe, together with a host of other dignitaries.
True to the celebrated philanthropy of Dr Igwemezie, he rounded off the event by inviting the elders, kinsmen and the good people of his community to celebrate the new yam festival in his country home in the course of which there were lots and lots of everything for everyone.
