Ahead of the November 6 Anambra governorship election, more and more endorsements and support have continued to come the way of Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA gubernatorial candidate.

Just few days ago, the Chairman/CEO of the Young Shall Grow Motors, Chief Vincent Obianodo (Ezeani Ozuluigbo) while receiving Cee Cee Soludo in his palatial home in Neni, Anaocha LGA had declared his full support for Soludo’s governorship bid describing Soludo as a round peg in a round hole who understands the dynamics of modern economic system.

The respected business mogul received Soludo warmly and gave him his full blessings.

And just this weekend, Anambra Diasporans, rising from their widely publicized global meeting from 13 countries which include; the United Kingdom, America, Germany, Canada, Russia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Sweden, Australia, Austria, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Isreal and India, in their resolutions unanimously adopted Cee Cee Soludo as their preferred governorship candidate for the Anambra gubernatorial election.

The group, also as part of their resolutions, vowed to resist any attempt to foist a gubernatorial candidate on Anambra State who will be answerable to godfathers.

To ensure that Cee Cee Soludo emerges as the next governor of the state, the Diasporan group further said they will be initiating synergy with all the Traditional Rulers, President Generals (PG) of town Unions, President of organisations, the church and religious leaders, the workers, traders, business persons, Labour unions, transporters, students, women etc towards the realisation of the objective.

These weighty resolutions were signed by Ernest Ezeajughi (former Mayor of Enfield England UK); Prince Neville Uchendu (the Mayor of Atlanta Georgia) and Michael Chukwujekwu (England, UK), respectively on behalf of the group.

In the last 48 hours too, there was also news report of APGA in Ihiala LGA recording its biggest catch as a prominent son of Ihiala from Anamu Ward, Chief (Dr) Nnamdi Igwemezie (Ph.D, MBA), the former Vice-President of Novartis Malaria Initiative in Basel, Switzerland, embracing the APGA party because of the incomparable appeal of the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo.

It was reported that in his spirited drive to back APGA and Soludo to the hilt, Chief Igwemezie, with the support of his amiable mother, Lady Regina Igwemezie, and his beloved wife, Dr Dorothy Igwemezie, made a handsome donation to APGA as a party and the Soludo Campaign Council_

_And just barely 24 hours later, Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs) Ifeoma Ekwueme, wife of the former Vice President, Dr Alex Ekwueme, also gave her unambiguous support and endorsement to Cee Cee Soludo’s governorship bid. In her words:

“I have never had any membership card other than the PDP. Up until today, the PDP membership card is the only card in my possession. However, the time we are in does not call for just Political Party consideration. There is so much ahead of us that we cannot afford to commit the future of our State to ‘just anybody’. This is why I support a Soludo for his proven track record in public service that cannot be controverted”.

Interestingly, the endorsements and support also cut across the 32 self-funding Support Groups scattered all over the 21 LGA in Anambra State also with presence in most of the 326 wards in the state supporting and rooting massively for Soludo’s governorship bid.

Most political observers of Anambra politics have posited that never in the history of the State has a candidate enjoyed so much goodwill, support and endorsement like Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo.

The general consensus among these political pundits, is that, it will be an herculean task for any candidate to defeat Soludo at the polls as all indicators are pointing to an overwhelming victory for Soludo come November 6, 2021.
