
The National Information Technology Development Agency has pledged to support the Bayelsa State Government in the running of a world-class information, communication and technology centre to enhance its sustainability.
This wasccontained inna statement made by the NITDA Director, Corporate Planning and Strategy, Dr Dimie Wariowei, on Monday during the agency courtesy visit to Governor Douye Diri, in Government House, Yenagoa.

Wariowei described the structures and planning of the ICT Hub located at the Central Business District of Yenagoa, the state capital, as impressive, explaining that the delegation was sent by the Director General of NITDA to assess the facility before implementing its support to the state inorder to boost ICT Technology system.
He however said, that the report of the assessment visit would give a better idea of what the ICT Hub actually requires to ensure not only a seamless flag-off of the project but also its sustainability to meet the aspirations of the Bayelsa Government and NITDA.
