Recently, the Nigerian activist, Charly Boy, has taken to social media to disclose how former president, Olusegun Obasanjo allegedly stopped 1.5 million citizens of Chad from entering into the country to participate in the voting processes, in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.
The veteran singer, activist made this revelation through his official Twitter account, announced that;
“Obasanjo blocked 100 trucks containers carrying nearly 1.5 million Chadians from entering Nigeria to Kaduna to vote APC”.
According to Charly Boy, the Nigerian elder statesman received a call from a junior immigration officer that unknown 100 trucks carrying over 1.5 million Chadians got access to the Nigerian border and were heading to Kaduna State, adding that Obasanjo responded immediately and asked his personal security officials to block all roads leading to Kaduna State, which led to the capturing of such trucks.
Charly Boy further revealed that the trucks did not have plate numbers and the Chadians who were holding Nigeria PVCs pretended not to hear English, adding that Obasanjo ordered such PVCs to be collected and destroyed immediately.
The singer finally disclosed that Chad President was contacted immediately by Obasanjo and he denied knowing about such incident, adding that the trucks and the Chadians were ordered to go back to their country.
