I often watch Ossai Ovie Success, one of the bloated Media Aides to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, overreach self in reckless public statements, including insulting public figures, in the name of social media exuberance.
It’s interesting that because he has been uncontrolled, Ossai has taken the nuisance to a point he now ‘pour spit’ on his Master, the Governor. Yes, Ossai as Delta born content creator, ‘Gehgeh’ would say, ‘pour spit’ on Oborevwori with impunity.

He, intentionally I strongly believe, did so with his invitation to unruly Ibom Air’s passenger, Emmanson Comfort, to come headline and be the face of a Delta State Government sponsored Social Media Summit billed for August 28,2025 at Asaba.
Only an ignorant, timid governor ignores or doesn’t even realise it when an overfed brat of youth aide is making a huge fool of him. As a serial governor’s aide who has been around the corridors of power since the era of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, Ossai can’t claim ignorance of the fact that his actions and inactions often rub off on the Governor and administration he was appointed to serve.
I followed Comfort’s case like many Nigerians did. I do concede that Ibom Air shares the guilt for dehumanizing her, but that doesn’t detract from the fact that she was “unruly”, in character and temperament. Besides, her social media inclinations dug up her trial also revealed a nuance of a “hookup” merchant.
That is the character Ossai chose to invite for an all expense paid complementary trip to Delta to attend to as Special Guest of a Delta Social Media Summit, Ossai’s prime conduit for collecting his ‘stomach infrastructure’ from any Delta governor in power.
His perceived mouth watering invitation to an embattled Comfort who may not even care played as, “I’m offering Comfort Emmanson a complimentary trip to Delta State, known as the Big Heart and Home of Global Tourism Hub.
“Additionally, a job opportunity with a monthly salary of N500,000 has been secured for her in Delta State.
All expenses, including flight tickets, accommodation in a five star hotel, and tour costs, will be fully covered.
“Also a ticket to attend Delta Social Media Summit coming up August 28th in Asaba. I’d like to extend an invitation for her to visit Delta State and unwind after her release from Kirikiri prison.
“If you’re in touch with her, please ask her to DM me. She won’t be disappointed as I will be giving her good time.”
Obviously the all expense paid invitation is to be bankrolled by the Delta state government, forget the half-clever attempt to divorce it from government with Ossai’s “Additionally, a job opportunity with a monthly salary of N500,000 has been secured for her in Delta State.”
Let’s get it straight, Ibom Air is 100% owned by sister Niger Delta state, Akwa Ibom. In bringing Delta government’s name into it, was Ossai directed by Oborevwori to shame Governor Umo Eno for his state’s ownership of Ibom Air?
Is he being used to do some organized dirty job of stirring conflict between Akwa Ibom and Delta? How could he be so reckless to ‘pour spit’ on Governor Oborevwori under this shaky political climate?
The barrage of disapproving comments his invitation and promises to Comfort have elicited already prove the extent he has insulted the governor and Delta state with this height of disrespect for a boss.
I maintain I don’t blame Ossai. Other than wooing the community of social media praise singers to hype a mediocre governor, what real value is Ossai adding to governance in Delta? With what expertise or experience?
He couldn’t have been this disrespectful under Uduaghan and Okowa. He would have been kicked out. He’s under an ignorant and undiscerning governor who may even have taken the whole insulting idea as a complement.
‘Dey play, Sheriff. Na spit Ossai don take baf you so. Dey there dey laugh’.
