The trending video of a female lawmaker in Gambia National Assembly, shaming colleagues, particularly the Speaker of the House, for increasingly sharing the country’s commonwealth recklessly to swell their personal estates to the detriment of the common good in the name of budgeting, again exposes the evil, extreme insensitivity of the Nigerian lawmakers.

During the 2022-2023 Federal Budget Session in the Gambian National Assembly, Touma Nije, a female representing Banjul South had chided the Speaker and entire budget committee for astronomically increasing salaries, allowances and sundry benefits to house members, consciousness unmindful of the plight of the common man and how she feels about such impunity by office holders in Gambia

Is it not time for the Nigerian youth to start stoning our irresponsible politicians in public? In Nigeria the Lawmakers at states and national levels approve loans and inflated contracts for themselves. They approved inflated salaries/allowances for themselves.

The civilian government since 1999 is fake, fake and fake. The Nigerian politicians are thieves who will never repent. Who do we blame? I blame the Lawmakers for failing to checkmate the executives.

Governance in Nigeria is about stealing and looting the commonwealth at the detriment of impoverished populace who are so hungry that at the minutest cash inducement, they clap for the thieving politicians in power.

We must rescue this country from APC and PDP at the federal level. These are two irresponsible parties and good will never flow from them.

This is a honest warning to those who support Peter Obi to be honest with their support for Peter Obi till the end.
