It is the height of incitement and impunity if what we are hearing is true, that the Loan Master, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is set to further mortgage Delta state for yet another crooked loan to sink into his desperation to impose a successor and he seeking to be Vice President.
It means Okowa is continuing to prove he doesn’t have a human conscience and he deserves to go jail immediately after his immunity as elected governor of Delta expires.
He has put Delta in huge debts and still wanting to obtain more loans to finance himself, Atiku Abubakar, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate and Sherriff Oborevwori, Delta PDP gubernatorial candidate while retirees are suffering untold hardships for non-payment of their entitlements.
What are the anti-graft agencies waiting for to arrest those who are collaborating with Okowa to loot Delta commonwealth further? Agreed Okowa is under immunity but what about the speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and House members authorizing him to loot further?
What about the Finance Commissioner, Accountant- General, Permanent Secretary, Directors in the Delta Ministry of Finance and the Executive Directors/Managing Directors of those lending banks who involved in this organized crime of looting Delta further into more debts, are they still on immunity?
What will Okowa’s successor use to run his administration and build needed infrastructures, after being elected next governor? As for Sherriff, he is involved in this racket of looting Delta dry, and as such he will not be voted by any sane person. The motive for Sherriff being the choice of Okowa for governor is known, all aimed to cover up Okowa’s financial recklessness on the state’s treasury.
Delta people should rise up against Okowa and his stooge, Sherriff. Those clamoring for Sherriff due to tribal or clannish sentiments are April fools of the 21st century.
