ZIK GBEMRE IMPLORE RENAISSANCE AFRICA ENERGY COMPANY LTD TO SEE THE NEED TO OPERATE WESTERN ASSETS FROM WARRI
As Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited takes over the enormous oil and gas assets recently divested by Shell, we strongly implore the new operator to operate its Western Division Assets from Warri, Delta State as operational headquarters.
Shell operated two operational headquarters known as Western Division located in Warri and Eastern Division located in Port-Harcourt and every operational headquarters is on its own before Shell divested.
This prompted Shell to build Osubi Airport in Warri to serve the oil sector, city and environs. The Renaissance Africa Energy Company Ltd must relocate its Western Operations to Warri fully and run the operations of the Western Asset from Warri and not from Port-Harcourt.
Renaissance Africa Energy Company Ltd has viable assets in Delta State hence there is justification to relocate fully to Warri. The former Shell main offices, Edjeba and Ogunu in Warri are available.
The company can keep its Eastern operations in Port-Harcourt while Warri remains the operational headquarters of the Western Division as it were in Shell days when they have not divested its onshore assets.
Shell divested fully in Eastern Division in Port-Harcourt as they divested fully in Western Division in Warri. Now the Renaissance Africa Energy Company Ltd shouldn’t operate it Western assets from Port-Harcourt.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori must make its position clear on this by asking them to operate their Western operations in Warri as it were before divestment by Shell.
