President Tinubu you should know that what will sustain Nigeria’s democracy is good governance and nothing more.
When there is good governance there is sustainable democracy.
Since 1999 Nigerian politicians have derailed for selfish reasons. Though democracy doesn’t necessarily guarantee good governance.
Credible politicians in power guarantee good governance. Nigeria is drifting. We hear promises from politicians that are never implemented. They say the best military administration is worst than the worst civilian elected administration but that is not true.
Nigeria is not practicing credible democracy. Nigeria is practicing useless democracy by rotten politicians. Tinubu’s APC led administration is worthless. Hunger, starvation, unemployment is abundant. What democracy are we talking about in Nigeria?
The problems Nigeria has are the politicians of this era since 1999. They are worthless and nothing good will come from the Nigerian politicians of this era since 1999.
Nigerians shouldn’t pretend that all is well. The supposed democracy is failing in Nigeria.
Which advanced technology is in football (soccer) that Africa and Nigeria will hire white coaches for? Is football another space technology? Is football require building of castles in the air or underground/top of deep sea that requires advanced technology?
The problem of Africa and Nigeria is within our people here. Why should Nigeria hire expatriates to do jobs that will be done better by Nigerians? Why are black Africans reducing selves for the white people. Black Africans are discriminated against in US, UK, Canada, etc no matter how well skilled/educated they are?
The white people only give black Africans jobs their people don’t like to do. Nursing assistants, driving and whatever they call them in US, UK, Canada, these are jobs they give to our people. The white people will employ white high school (equivalent of secondary schools) drop outs rather than employing black African postgraduate degree holders in their companies.
On the other hand, in Africa and Nigeria, uneducated white people are given the best roles/jobs in Nigerian company just because he/she is a white person. Are black African leaders not fooling themselves and reducing selves to nothing?
In US, UK, Canada, etc they use our highly skilled/educated black Africans to do all sorts of useless jobs their white people reject. If back Africans don’t want to elevate themselves then it is their fault. If you don’t have regard for yourself who will have regard for you?
If you deliberately or ignorantly throw away your self esteem who will have regard for you? According to Urhobo Voice newspaper slogan, “if you don’t fight your fight who will fight it for you”. And According to Urhobo Historical Society (UHS),” If you don’t write your history others will write it for you”. If others write your history they will adulterate it and you can’t complain because you have refused to write your history.
In Nigeria there are many jobs Nigerians will do better but Nigerian companies will go and hire white people at higher costs. Who do you blame? In US, UK, Canada the white people reserve social carers, gatekeepers and cleaners jobs, nursing jobs for black Africans no matter how talented/educated the black Africans are while in Africa and Nigeria companies in Nigeria still discriminate against our black Africans.
As said by Michael Egi recently, “That has always being the life of the black man, even among his own people. Nigerians would prefer a white mediocre football coach to one of their own, even when Steve Keshi a home grown coach succeeded where many whites failed, he was still hounded out for a journey man white coach.
“We lack confidence in our own abilities, so we should not be surprised when others do the same to us. Nigeria has just hired a white no name coach over our home grown coaches despite our dire economic condition.”
Is there a need for Nigeria to hire white coaches for football soccer? Nigerian footballers are rated one of the best in the world and yet among them Nigerian government will not appreciate and recognise them by giving coach jobs to them.
There is no technology in football soccer that requires foreign coaches that black African slaves can’t do better. Africans/Nigerias need to grow up and wise up.
