The United States embassy in Abuja and the consulate general in Lagos will be closed on Monday, February 16, to observe the country’s Presidents’ Day.
The US mission announced this in an X post on Sunday.
Presidents’ Day is a US federal holiday observed on the third Monday in February.
However, this is noted to be a room a three-day weekend for US citizens, as federal offices, banks, post offices, and many schools/businesses close in observance.
