Information has shown that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have left France to London for a short private visit.
It is noted that President Tinubu participated fully in the summit for ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron, before proceeding to London.
This was disclosed by his Spciql Adviser president, according to his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, Mr. Dele Alake who also revealed that the President will be back in the country on time for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival celebration.
Alake said the president had an outstanding participation in the summit in France.
According to him, participating in the summit where he represented Nigeria is goinv to be a win-win for Nigeria as he also held several high-profile sideline meetings with fellow heads of state and government, global business leaders and chief executives of leading multilateral and development finance institutions from around the world.
To this end, he confirms the summit as a huge opportunity of projecting, on a global stage, his advocacy for widening the fiscal space, economic justice for Africa as the world accelerates the pace of energy transition, and the urgency of addressing the pressing issues of poverty and climate change.
