Come March 17th, 2022 when Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo will formally assume office as Governor of Anambra State, things obviously are going to change and will be done differently

Some of these changes are not just going to be disruptive but will be very profound and illuminating as an eye opener for other leaders to emulate
The ominous signs are there already. And they are becoming visible and clearer by the day.
The first shocker was the 80-man Transition Committee of tested technocrats and individuals who were assembled on merit irrespective of any affiliation. Today, these wise men and women are doing a great job to ensure a seamless transition from Obiano’s government to the in-coming government
Another of the disruptive changes is the call for expression of interest from all those interested in political appointments to do so by applying formally.
Shocking as it may appear, most political analysts have commended this move as a complete departure from the norm. Soludo himself has explained it, thus: “We need everybody who has passion, capability, competence and integrity because we want to be ready with a team that can go to work on the first day”
His decision to adopt the Innoson brand of Vehicles as his official vehicle has not only been commended it has indeed trigger off a kind of a ripple effects on other government establishments.
One of the ripple effects is the report that the Federal government of Nigeria has been increasing its Vehicular orders from Innoson Motors in recent times when it bought additional IVM buses to beef up its fleet. This gives credence to the fact that Soludo’s efforts in canvassing vigorously for patronage of locally made goods and services has not gone unnoticed even by the Federal government
Another of Soludo’s revolutionary disposition is his decision to be the brand ambassador for the locally made Akwete cloths.
Recent reports as revealed by Mr Joe Anatune shows that the demand for Akwete material has soared higher ever since Soludo made it his personal policy to adorn the locally made fabric
There are also reports that as part of promoting more local brands, only locally made beer and palmwine will be served in Government House and at government functions when Soludo formally assumes office
Without being sworn in yet, Soludo’s integrity and revolutionary leadership disposition is already revolutionising the entire political landscape in the country. And the positive effects are becoming visible and clearer by the day!
Indeed, the golden era of development are here again courtesy of a man who has an eye ahead of the future!
