The Founder of the NGO Kesiena Owivri while distributing the food items which ranges from rice, litres of groundnut oil to the needy, said that her passion to show concern for the needy and the less privileged in the society was born out of love.
She revealed that the foundation was her brain child which she conceived over two years ago, adding that since its inception the foundation has distributed various food items to deserving beneficiaries.
She said that her satisfaction and fulfillment comes from the joy and smile on the faces of different beneficiaries whom she said are mostly women and children.
“As a Christian it is an obligation to give to charity no matter how little.
“For us as a foundation, we believe strongly in showing care and compassion to the needy through giving,” she said.
