Support For Human Development Foundation, SHUDEF is currently mitigating the impacts of diabetes in Delta state, beginning with Igbuzor community.

The programs are segmented in two faces which includes the following,

1.Public seminars on prevention and control of diabetes/free blood sugar test for people to know their health status.

1.Provision of Home Based Care health and economic relief services to those vulnerable to and challenged with the impacts of diabetes most of whom are visually impaired while some are suffering amputation.

Currently, while another face of seminar on prevention and control is slated for October 2024, the Home Based Care health and economic relief service is ongoing.

SHUDEF as an organisation that creates a shared vision is open to partnership with all relevant stakeholders as no one civil society or individual can alone solve the puzzle of development health challenge, but through a revitilised stakeholder relationship to achieve a collective impact.
