SUNNY EKPETIKA ISSUES 7 DAYS ULTIMATUM FOR KIDNAPPERS TO VACATE ETSAKO EAST FOREST AND BUSHES

The Ag. Chairman of Etsako East Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. Sunny Ekpetika Ekpeson has issued a 7-day ultimatum to kidnappers and criminals operating in the area to vacate the forests and bushes surrounding the local government arena.

In a statement, Ekpeson also issued stern warning to all parents to advise their children against engaging in armed robbery, kidnapping, and other social vices. He emphasized the need for collective responsibility in maintaining law and order, urging citizens to work together to create a safe and secure environment.

He further emphasized that parents and guardians should caution their children and wards against involvement in criminal activities, stressing that the council would no longer tolerate such acts. He assured that the council would collaborate with security agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property in Etsako East Local Government Area.

He stated that after the expiration of the 7-day deadline, the council, in collaboration with security agencies, will take all necessary measures to ensure the area is secured and criminal activities are brought to an end.
