Governor Willie Obiano has again reaffirmed that Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance gubernatorial candidate is the best candidate in the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State
Governor Obiano was speaking at a meeting with members of Anambra Elders and Stakeholders Forum for Good Leadership and Heads of Broadcast Media Stations in Anambra State at the Governor Lodge, Awka
“Soludo is the best candidate for this election. You know I will not bring you anything sub-standard. He is the best that will take the state to a much greater height” Obiano said
Governor Obiano has repeatedly made same statements in several fora espousing Soludo’s qualities as a man with the right education, contacts, connections and experience to consolidate on the achievements of his administration.
The Governor also decried the recent killings in the state, describing it as an “invasion into the state”. He added that the state government will leave no stone unturned in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
He charged the citizens to continue to go about their legitimate daily businesses without fear or molestation
Cee Cee Soludo in his remarks described Governor Willie Obiano as a very hardworking Governor who has laid the pillars of development with the legacy projects he has put in place in the state.
He also commended his leadership qualities and excellent performance in raising the bar of development in the state to a very high level.
Soludo also condemned strongly the recent killings in the state, describing it as a culture that is not known to Ndi Anambra.
“This is not who we are as Ndi-Anambra,” Soludo said in further condemnation of the killings
He told the gathering that his desire is to build a livable and prosperous homeland in the state where everyone will proper and live peacefully. He also reminded the audience that APGA remains the identity party for Ndigbo, and called on all Ndi Anambra to support the party to victory in the coming guber election
He thanked the gathering for their support and belief in his governorship bid
Chief Emeka Mbagha of the Anambra Elders and Stakeholders Forum for Good Leadership extolled Obiano’s outstanding achievements in the state. He also described Cee Cee Soludo as an “Eagle” that has landed, who will ultimately take the state to another greater height
Speakers after speakers later took turns to speak, extolling Obiano’s amazing achievements in the state and also praising him for putting forward Cee Cee Soludo as his successor!
