SOLUDO INSPECTS 26KM UFUMA-AWA-OKPEZE-NDIUKWENU-AMANSEA ROAD, REITERATES HIS GOVT WORKS WITH DEADLINES

The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo says his administration is firing on all cylinders to meet up with its deadline.

Governor Soludo made the assertion while inspecting the 26-kilometer Ufuma-Awa-Okpeze-Ndiukwenu-Amansea Road.

The road is contracted to Stefanutti Stocks Hapel Ltd.

 

The Governor told the contractor he was unhappy with the slow pace of work. He reiterated that excuses are not acceptable because it engender failure

 

The Governor pointed out that he drove from Amansea to Ufuma to inspect the road, saying that it was supposed to be completed by December of last year according to the contract timeline.

 

“While the people are pleased that the work is moving which is already at 60% completion, I’m not happy that the work hasn’t been completed up till now.

 

“If a job is completed, we know that it is executed and we focus on a new project. “This is the direction our administration is taking,” Governor Soludo stated.

 

The Governor charged the people and residents within the locality to vote for all APGA candidates in the upcoming election and to get ready for the upcoming National Census Exercise, which will begin after the elections.

Earlier, the Transition Committee Chairman for Orumba North, Hon. Ogochukwu Ekwueme recalled how the Governor visited Orumba on September 17, 2022. He appreciated him for keeping to his promise.

Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, stressed that the only way Orumba people can repay the Governor is to vote for all APGA candidates.

Commissioner for Women Affairs, Lady Ify Obinabo, pointed out that the Governor does not make empty promises. “He makes promises and filfills it.” She told the people

APGA Candidate, Orumba North & South Federal Constituency, Sir Eric Kanayo Eze, Deputy Majority Leader and APGA Candidate Orumba North Constituency in Anambra House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Aforka and APGA Candidate, Anambra South Senatorial District, Chris Azubogu attended the function and equally canvassed for votes from the people

 

Secretary to the State Government, Prof Solo Chukwulobelu, Accountant-General, Anambra State, Sir Chukwudi Okoli, Executive Secretary, State-Local Government Joint Account Allocation Committee, Dr. Leo Nwankwo Ikwueto, APGA Orumba Ward Chairman, APGA Orumba Party Executives, Traditional Rulers among others, also attended the event.
