SOLUDO FELICITATES WITH DR ONYECHI IKPEAZU ON THE OCCASION OF 75 YEARS ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE IKPEAZU CHAMBERS

Anambra State Governor-elect, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has felicitated with Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu, lead Counsel at the Ikpeazu Chambers on the occasion of 75 years anniversary of the establishment of the Chambers
In a congratulatory letter personally signed by the Governor-elect and made available to the media by Mr Joe Anatune, Head of Soludo Media Office, Prof Soludo expressed his warm greetings and felicitations to Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu, SAN, on the auspicious occasion of the 75 years anniversary of the Ikpeazu Chambers
“I bring you warm greetings and felicitate with you on this auspicious occasion of the 75 years anniversary of the establishment of the Ikpeazu Chambers of which you are the lead legal counsel.” Soludo wrote
“The story of the Ikpeazu Chambers cannot be told without reference to the founder, your father, the late Honourable Justice Chuba Ikpeazu QC, OFR, an accomplished lawyer and an outstanding eminent jurist who laid a solid foundation.” Soludo further said
The Governor-elect therefore said that It is highly commendable and a source of joy to him that Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu have not only diligently kept the family legacy alive but have also actually taken the Chambers to an admirable height of blazing glory, becoming in the process, one of the leading law firms in Nigeria.
He stated further “In advancing the course of law in Nigeria, your advocacy skills and mastery of the nation’s legal jurisprudence including some of the landmark cases you have handled, have been generally hailed by Nigerians across board as deserving of commendation.”
Continuing, he said, “It is particularly gratifying that you have had many landmark judgments to your credit and have remained a source of inspiration to many young lawyers in the legal profession.”
Soludo also stated that “it is noteworthy to also recall that as a reformer and through your advocacy skills, some of your landmark cases have not only brought joy and hope to the ordinary man in the street but have also impacted positively in strengthening the course of administration of justice in the country.”
Concluding, Soludo said he joins friends, professional colleagues and well-wishers to celebrate this very special and rare milestone with Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu, as he prays to the Almighty God to grant Dr Ikpeazu good health and continue to lead him in the right direction as he also continues to render greater services to humanity and his fatherland.
