Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo has assured the determination of his administration to sustain its rigorous efforts on infrastructural development across the state.

Governor Soludo gave the assurance while celebrating the 40th Priestly anniversary of the Papal Nuncio to Czech Republic, Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo.

The Governor attended the anniversary mass held at St. Cletus Catholic Church, Nnewi, in company of his wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo

Governor Soludo mentioned some of the roads being constructed and those undergoing construction in the area and described Archbishop Okolo as one of Anambra’s finest gifts to the world, urging him to continue being an exemplary soul.

While emphasizing that his government is one with an agenda with a deadline, the Governor told the congregation that he has only been in office for a year and six months and that there will be significant changes in the state in the coming days and months, particularly in Nnewi

In a homily, the Archbishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, Most Rev. Valerian Okeke, while jubilating with the celebrant on his 40th Priestly Anniversary, told the congregation that the number 40, which was mentioned 150 times in the sacred scriptures, is special and significant, meaning completeness, transformation, and perfection.

In a vote of thanks, Most Rev. Okolo, who is the highest-ranking Apostolic Nuncio from Africa and who speaks Italian, French, Spanish, German, Haitian Creole, basic Czech, Latin, and Hausa fluently, appreciated everyone for honoring him as he celebrates God’s grace upon his life.

Former Governor, Peter Obi, Peter Cardinal Okpaeleke, Bishops, other clergy, among others attended the mass.
